Easy installation
Because the vinyl is cellular, these products cut and nail better than wood and can be installed with either nails or glue. Installation can be done once and done right, saving you time and money.

10-Year factory finish warranty
Prefinished and ready to use, all of the Arndt & Herman exterior moulding products may also be repainted to match a home’s individual look. Backed by a 10-year Readi™ Finish warranty, the products are guaranteed to experience no UV discoloration.

Installation Tips
Immediately before installation, allow product to acclimate in ambient conditions out of direct sunlight.

Standard woodworking tools may be used for cutting. Always miter or bevel cut at joints and corners. The use of PVC Cement is recommended for all corners especially on larger moulding patterns (larger than 2" wide) in addition to cross nailing of the joint. Maximum spacing for nailing should be reduced on both sides of joints and corners

Fasteners
Mechanical fasteners may be used on A&H cellular vinyl keeping in mind the appropriate fastener for the specific product and end use. Nails should be placed 12" on center when possible. Pre-drilling is required for nailing at a temperature of 32 degrees or below. Smaller patterns may be nailed with 16 ga. or 18 ga. wire brads. Patterns larger than 2" in width should be nailed nails either pneumatically or by hand. Typical non-rusting or coated fasteners are highly recommended.

Painting
While Arndt and Herman cellular vinyl's Readi Finish™ is prefinished and does not require painting, it may be painted a desired color using oil-based or latex paints. Readi Finish™ is backed with a 10-year finish warranty against discoloration. Using very dark colors is not recommended for painting. Dark colored paints, such as black, crimson red and hunter green, may fade in time and would need repainting.
