Azek
has the look, feel and sound of clear, premium lumber without
the hassles associated with traditional lumber.
Azek is a rigid expanded PVC material designed to replace
wood in virtually every non stress-bearing application available
in trimboard, beadboard, sheet and cornerboard dimensions.
Azek offers an array of weatherability features not found
in any known woods. These features include: resistance to
rot, moisture, splitting and delamination.
Outdoor
trim and molding can be finished with recommended paints
using pastel colors. This will ensure a finish that will
outlast conventional paint-on-wood finishes. Also, Azek,
can be milled, moulded, shaped and thermoformed for any
custom millwork profile.
The
outstanding durability of Azek in outdoor applications is
based on the fact that it will not sustain growth of spores,
mold or mildew -- or foster any chemical reactions that
normally cause paint to blister and/or peel.
Azek is the perfect replacement for wood in all non-stress
bearing applications. Azek can be used with no adverse effects
in areas where trim will contact masonry, concrete, ground
or other potentially wet surfaces. Azek is highly recommended
for outdoor trim in areas known for high humidity such as
the seashore (salt air), high rainfall zones, etc.
And
most of all Azek is resistant to ALL insects, including
the world's most prolific destroyer of wood -- termites.

all of the same product benefits as Traditional AZEK

Azek Adhesive
Azek Adhesive is great for many projects, such as mitered
corners, scarf joints, columns, and millwork. It provides
a strong Azek to Azek bond.
Azek
Adhesive is a cellular pvc cement designed for use with
cellular pvc such as Azek.
Azek Adhesive is UV stable and clear with a medium consistency.
A water based cement, Azek Adhesive cleans up easily.
It is non-flammable and virtually odorless. No primer
is needed.
For best results, glue all Azek joints such as long
fascia runs window surrounds, etc to prevent joint
separation. When bonding, the glue joint should be
secured long enough to allow adequate bonding time.
